The woman accused of running her granddaughter to death will return to court on Thursday. A motion for bond for Joyce Garrard shall be heard at the status hearing set in an Etowah County oourt room Garrard has been charged with the murder of her granddaughter, Savannah Hardin. Prosecutors say Savannah Hardin died after she was forced to run for three hours as punishment for lying about having candy.
