An Alabama pastor accused of killing his wife and wounding his daughter is now out of the hospital and jailed on a murder charge.
Gardendale police say the Rev. Terry Greer was released from a hospital on Monday, almost two months after the killing of wife Lisa Greer.
Authorities say Greer repeatedly stabbed himself after the shooting, which wounded their teenage daughter.
Greer is now being held without bond in the Jefferson County Jail on murder and attempted murder charges.
A defense lawyer says Greer was in what he calls a "perfect storm" of personal and professional problems before the shootings, which occurred at a church-owned home near Birmingham in Gardendale.
Greer remains a United Methodist pastor, but he was removed as minister at Gardendale-Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church.
