A trial date has been set for the teen accused in a fatal 2010 shooting at a middle school in Huntsville.
Hammad Memon is scheduled to appear in court June 17. The 17-year-old was arrested in the death of 14-year-old Todd Brown, who was fatally shot between classes at Discovery Middle School.
The teen is being held in the Huntsville-Madison County Metro Jail without bond. Memon's bond was revoked after he and his mother were arrested in Texas in 2012. Authorities have said they were planning on leaving the country.
Police also arrested the teen's father and said he was trying to help them flee the country. Memon's parents were charged with hindering prosecution.
