A man waiting in line at a Red Box was reportedly stabbed in the side after getting into a fight with the person in front of him.
Police say the incident happened outside of the CVS on Meighan Blvd. and Hoke Street in Gadsden around 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18. The 37-year-old victim told police he was standing in line at the Red Box when he got into an argument with the man he was waiting behind. The victim said the fight turned physical, and that's when the suspect pulled out a knife, cutting him on the side of his torso. Police say the two men knew each other. The victim was treated for a non-life-threatening injury at Gadsden Regional. He identified his alleged attacker to police, but so far no one has been charged in the case.
Captain Bobby Jackson says the investigation into the case is on-going.
