A 14-year old student from Clay-Chalkville High School has been charged with rape first-degree after sexually assaulting another student on school grounds during school hours last October. The incident was first reported to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office on January 29th of this year. The victim told investigators she had been raped at school in October 2011. She said she had forgotten her cell phone in a previous class and had gotten permission to retrieve it. While she was returning to class, a male pulled her into the boys' restroom. Video surveillance from the school confirms this. The suspect was suspended pending the outcome of the investigation. A petition was issued by family court Friday for the suspect's arrest. His attorney is expected to surrender him to Juvenile detention.
