The Shelby County Sheriff's Office says it has re-opened Highway 280 westbound at the intersection of Meadowlark Drive after a six-vehicle accident temporarily shut the road down completely.
The injured in the wreck are being treated at the scene and at local hospitals. Their injuries are not said to be life threatening. The closure created extremely congested traffic in the area. Drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes until the congestion can clear.
