Birmingham police were out at St. Vincent's Hospital again Sunday. Around noon, police say a gun was fired in the area and a bullet hit a fifth floor window of the hospital. Police were dispatched to the hospital. No one was arrested and police have no reports of the hospital going on lockdown. The incident comes just a day after Jason Letts of Jemison exchanged gunfire with two Birmingham police officers inside the hospital on the same floor. One officer and two employees were wounded. Letts was shot and killed.
