The infant victim involved in the car-train accident in Titusville Tuesday night has passed away, Birmingham Police Sgt. Johnnie Williams confirmed. The accident happened three days ago around 9 p.m. when a train clipped a Ford Expedition, injuring four of its passengers, one being an infant. The child was ejected during the accident and was taken to Children's of Alabama, where the victim remained in critical condition before passing away Friday. The three other injured adults have all been treated and released from the hospital. Williams said there is an ongoing investigation, but no charges have been filed at this time.
