An Alabama soldier accused of preying on young girls is in jail in Colorado. First Lieutenant Aaron Gregory Lucas, 31, is being held on more than $2-million bond.
Lucas is an infantry officer stationed at Fort Carson.
Police said there may be as many as 20 victims, all of them under the age of 12, since 2010, when he moved to the Fort Carson area.
Lucas is accused of crimes ranging from exposing himself to kidnapping and sexual assault. "While we were investigating these, more incidents started to happen," Sgt. Scott Gilbersten with the Fountain Police Department told KUSA. "While working these, it just really quickly became apparent that this was the same person, the same man."
Lucas was arrested and charged with enticement of a child and kidnapping for two incidents in 2012. Lucas is originally from Madison County, Alabama and has family in Huntsville
