A second man has been arrested and charged in the April death of an Anniston woman. 25-year old Demontae Antwan Jones was arrested by Anniston police on Tuesday for the murder of Dequirea Royal at Constantine Homes on April 6. Royal was a sergeant in the Alabama National Guard preparing for a June deployment to Afghanistan when she was shot in her home on Good Friday this past spring. The first arrest came in less than a month later when Kenmonte Jacobe Winsley was charged in the death of Royal. Demontae Jones is being held in the Anniston City Jail on $100,000 bond.
