Former Anniston City Council member Ben Little has been found guilty of violating the Council Manager Act, which prevents a city council member from giving work orders to a city employee. His recommended sentence was 90 days in jail and removal from office. Little was already voted out of office. Judge Mannon Bankson sentenced Little to 6 months probation and he must pay $100.00 per month for six months. Little does plan on appealing and has 14 days to do so.
