An inmate from Russell County is on the loose after he was accidentally released. Cimarron Lamb is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 208 pounds. Authorities say he was the getaway driver in the Rainbow Foods Robbery in Fort Mitchell, AL last week. Sheriff Heath Taylor said the inmate did not escape but walked out of the jail by accident. The inmate had not been booked and was being detained in a holding cell with inmates who were about to be released.
Sheriff Taylor says he does not believe the suspect to be armed and dangerous. If you have any information you are asked to call the Russell County Sheriff's Office at (334) 298-6535.
