A shooting took place this morning at World Changers International Church in College Park, Georgia. This is the church that is run by megachurch pastor and televangelist Creflo Dollar.
Fulton County police say one person was shot on Wednesday morning inside World Changers International Church in College Park. According to authorities, the victim was rushed to South Fulton Medical Center. The person’s condition is not known. Rev. Creflo Dollar is the founder and senior pastor of World Changers International Church. According to the church’s website, worship services are held on Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. in the chapel. It's being reported that the victim died after the shooting broke out in the church around 10:30 a.m. While he was sent to the hospital in critical condition, he later died. According to sources at the church, the church hosts a weekly Bible study and the man who was killed is a member of World Changers International Church’s production crew. Fulton County Police Cpl. Kay Lester told The Associated Press that the suspect got away in a vehicle and was still at large after the Wednesday morning shooting at World Changers Church International in College Park. World Changers Church International is one of the nation’s largest, and its website states that it serves nearly 30,000 members. The church is led by the Rev. Creflo Dollar, its founder and senior pastor. There was no indication that he was injured.
