According to the Etowah County Sheriff's Office, a Gadsden man has been arrested and charged with child abuse of a 5-year-old boy. Jason Barry Raley, 30, of Gadsden, was arrested and charged with one felony count of aggravated child abuse. Raley is a law enforcement officer with the City of Hokes Bluff. He is currently being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on $100,000 cash bond.
