A florist employee is recoverying from injuries after being pistol whipped during an armed robbery.
It happened late Saturday night at the Continental Florist in Vestavia Hills.
Police say they responded to the scene aftr 10 p.m.
They found the male victim injured. He was struck with the pistol, but his injuries were not serious.
More than $200 was missing from the business.
Police are searching for the robbery suspect.
