Pelham police are investigating a triple homicide in the Chandalar community. Police said Monday they have a suspect in custody but the suspect has not yet been formally charged. Police responded to the 2400 block of Chandabrook Drive around 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9 on the report of a homicide. Officers found three gunshot victims inside. All three victims were dead when the officers arrived to the scene, according to a release from the Pelham Police Department. The names of the victims have not yet been released, pending notification of their families. The suspect's name is also being withheld pending formal charges.
"There are no outstanding suspects and no danger to the general public," the department stated in a release.
