Birmingham Sergeant Johnny Williams said Friday that the teen who accidentally shot his young brother will not face criminal charges. Williams says the Jefferson County DA declined to file any charges in the accidental shooting. The 16-year-old boy was reportedly trying to uncock the gun and that's when it fired, hitting his 12-year-old brother in the neck. As of Thursday, officials said the boy is expected to recover.
