Oxford Police have arrested all three suspects in a Saturday night shooting death.
Police confirmed Thursday the final suspect, Raphael Lamar Simmons, was taken into custody Wednesday night around 6:20 p.m. at Brentwood Apartments in Talladega. He was arrested without incident. The news release from Oxford Police Lt. Chip Owens says Terry Shandell Thomas turned himself in to Oxford Police late Tuesday afternoon. Both Simmons and Thomas had been sought since the shooting. A third suspect, Cameron Lavorous White, was arrested the day after the shooting. All three are charged with murder and attempted murder. 50-year-old Barry Glene White was found shot to death at what police describe as a home on the 300 block of Alice Street. The three suspects are also charged with the attempted murder of 40-year old Lorenzo Vivis Gilmer. Police have not yet released a motive, calling the investigation ongoing.
