Reports from Diverse Issues in Higher Education show that Alabama universities graduate more minorities than other states in the country. UAB is ranked at the top two years in a row, with the most blacks graduating with degrees in allied health diagnostic, intervention and treatment degrees more than any school in the country.
Tuskegee and University of Alabama are ranked high in graduating blacks with degrees in agriculture and human sciences.
Athens State is in tenth place with graduating Native Americans with education degrees.
