Penn State was callous
Louis Freeh is the FBI investigator of the Jerry Sandusky child abuse case. His job was to find anything that related to this matter and if any wrong doing was involved by Penn State officials. Joe Paterno and other top Penn State officials did not come forward with the child sex abuse allegations against Jerry Sandusky more than a decade ago for fear of bad publicity, allowing Sandusky to prey on the youth, according to a scathing internal report issued Thursday on the scandal. "Our most saddening and sobering finding is the total disregard for the safety and welfare of Sandusky's child victims by the most senior leaders at Penn State," said Louis Freeh. He also said that the actions taken by the university was callous and shocking. This information was retrieved during the eight month investigation and sex abuse could have been halted if Penn State had come forth with the issue. How will Joe Paterno’s legacy be observed as now?
