A cross-dressing man remains in the Calhoun County Jail after a 20-mile highspeed pursuit. The chase and arrest were caught on camera. It happened June 12 but the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office just released the video. The chase began in Jacksonville, where ABC agents were waiting for Clyde Yarborough, Jr. with warrants after he allegedly helped himself to some liquor without paying for it. "When she told him he went over there, and did some type of dance, a jig you might say, and began to open the bottle and chug it. She ran him out of the store and ABC agents had obtained a warrant," Calhoun County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Matthew Wade said. Wade says Yarborough was wearing women's clothes during the incident at the ABC store and again during the chase, which is one of the reasons he was identified so easly. Deputies joined the chase in Alexandria and ended it a short distance from there on Highway 431. At times, speeds reached 80 miles per hour. One deputy nudged the suspect's Ford Thunderbird into a turnaround lane where agents removed him from his car. Yarborough has been charged with off-premise alcohol consumption as well as several previous charges including failure to appear and DUI.
