Alabama State Troopers say that one person was killed in a vehicle accident around 4 p.m. Wednesday. The person killed was a 16-year-old male driving a 2000 Kia. State troopers did not release his name due to his age.
The accident happened at the intersection of Highway 231 and Highway 411. Two vehicles were involved, the 2000 Kia and a 2008 GMC. Two people in the GMC were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.
This is the fourth accident-related death in St. Clair County on Wednesday. All four people were killed along Highway 411, including three in Moody.
