Auburn freshman quarterback Zeke Pike was arrested last Saturday night and charged with public intoxication.
He was released on $300 bond.
The 19-year old Pike was an early enrollee at Auburn, taking part in spring practice and in the A-Day scrimmage, where he was 7-of-9 passing for 92 yards.
He was considered one of the nation's top prep quarterbacks last season.
As a senior at Dixie Heights High School in Edgewood, KY, Pike was 156-of-267 passing for 1,964 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also ran for 728 yards and 16 more scores.
He was suspended for his final game in high school for breaking unspecified team rules.
