Heat one win away
Game 4 was extra important for the Thunder as they enter down 2-1. They look to even the series with Miami. In the 1st quarter, Thunder exploded with 33 points and held the Heat to just 19 points. Miami increased the intensity on defense causing a few turnovers by OKC and it allowed them to get back in the game by halftime only down three. Only two people really showed up offensively for the Thunder, with Westbrook’s 43 point effort and Durant scoring 28. The Heat had an unexpected 25 points from Mario Chalmers providing that third wheel in scoring they needed to go along with Wade’s 25 points and Lebron’s 26 points. As James continued to cramp in the closing seconds, Chalmers makes key free throws for Miami off a questionable decision to foul by Westbrook. “One play does not lose us the game”, says Scoot Brooks (Thunder Head Coach). Miami wins the championship with only one more victory, but maybe the Thunder can put halt to that. If so, it will be the first time in NBA Finals history a team comes back down 3-1 to win the title. Sunday will begin game five at 7:30p.m.
