Family and friends of Ed Christian gathered today to pay their final respects to the former Auburn football player. A large crowd gathered in Valodsta for Christian's funeral.
Christian, Ladarious Phillips and DeMario Pitts were killed last Saturday night at a pool party in Auburn. Funeral services were held Friday for Phillps and Pitts. Desmonte Leonard, 22 who is a suspect in the shootings turned himself in to U.S. Marshals on Tuesday night. The side of the hearse was marked with the Auburn logo. Christian loved the school and stayed there to get his education after a football career ending injury. He graduated from Lowndes County High School in 2010.
