The woman accused of running her granddaughter to death appeared in court today. The hearing lasted about 50 minutes.
Both Joyce Garrard and her daughter-in-law, Jessica Hardin appeared in court. Among the issues brought up is the defense requesting 911 calls made from the day Savannah Hardin's death. They are also asking for the school bus video that recorded the conversation where Garrard allegedly said she was going to punish Savannah for having candy.
