The Black Cat That Survived Was Lucky

Wed, 28 Nov 2012 09:04:51 EST

'Danny Skellee Rescues The Black Cat' is the latest in the Skellee short stories for children. This story is, in fact, a true story. The events which occurred on the sunny day in Spain in 2012 have been translated into one of the Skellee children's book.

This story will probably surprise children world wide and should also make them aware of their responsibilities even at a very young age.

AnneMarie Callan, the author of 'Danny Skellee Rescues The Black Cat', which is the 4th in the Skellee Rescue Service series of children's stories,  made the following comment: 'I was absolutely amazed and shocked when this incident happened in our family garden. If anyone had told me previously that a cat could get into such a dangerous situation because of one momentary neglect in securing an item, I would have found it hard to believe but seeing it with my own eyes, I accept that fact completely now.'

She then added: 'Not included in the story was the fact that the black cat fell down many feet from the patio level to the pathway level below, whilst he was suffering in that certain dangerous situation.I've put this event into a Skellee story book,  to make them aware at a very young age of the danger that can occur through not following a particular routine.'

AnneMarie confirmed that 'Danny Skellee Rescues The Black Cat' can be found on the Kindle platform as of today and mages will also be added to the new stories for kids pinning boards.

She feels strongly that not only is the story of the black cat a story children will love but it also has a message that she hopes they may never forget.
