Books Without Publishers

Thu, 30 Aug 2012 10:44:42 EST

by Jessica Meyer

All amateur authors should put down their books and pick up their pen. Ultimate Hero Contest is bringing a new concept for the Internet Author Contests and the book publishing environment! Authors get the chance to work with Editors, Publishers, and Advertisers, all working to get new works published. Not only do judges vote for all submissions but anyone who is registered can vote too.

The idea for Ultimate Hero Contest came about when Hero Judson wanted to give amateur authors a chance to have their works published for the whole world to see. He wanted not only a select few to judge the quality of the books, but also allow the general public a say. The Ultimate Hero Contest began late 2011 with a beta test. The results have been posted on the web site and the winners received a publishing contract for their book. The second quarter was canceled so the contest could be completely revamped. Our third contest is completed and winners can be found on the Ultimate Hero Contest website.

Ultimate Hero Contest is looking for 12 authors for 17 different genres. In order to enter go to www.ultimateherocontest.com and register and all authors must be 18 years of age or older. Special permission can be obtained by special permission. Once registerd, submissions can be made where it will be reviewed to see if it makes 1 of the 12 submissions for the first round. Each author should have a completed or nearly completed work to submit. At this point the first chapter is submitted for voting. Six authors will move on to the second round where they will submit their second chapter. The results of the votes of the judges and the registered voters will send the final three authors to the final round where one will win the Ultimate Grand Prize Winning Publisher Contract. Go the to the site where all questions will be answered and details explained www.ultimateherocontest.com Fourth Quarter submissions are being accepted until October 31. All submissions must be competed by December 31, 2012. Don't miss this opportunity of a lifetime! Be the next person readers find on store shelves and electronic books.
