Problems with Firefox and Windows XP. If you are using Firefox and Windows XP, the Windows Media Player may have stopped working. Where the player is supposed to appear, all that you see is a horizontal white bar. The problem is that Firefox needs the current Windows Media Player PlugIn for Firefox. The original plug in that came with Windows XP will not work once you upgrade Firefox. To fix this, download Windows Media Player Firefox Player to your desktop. Once it has downloaded, double click on it to install it as a Firefox plugin. As this plugin will conflict with the old Windows Media Player Plug-in Dynamic Link Library, in Firefox go to Tools, Add-ons, Plugsins, find that plug in and click on Disable to the right. Restart Firefox. You should now have no problems accessing the Windows Media Player in Firefox when you click on Listen Live.
