Lions win over Packers may cost bar

A bar in a Detroit suburb is going all-in on the Lions. The Pour House in Madison Heights, Michigan, is offering to comp patrons their entire bill if the Detroit Lions beat the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. "There's a lot of excitement around here about the Lions making the playoffs, possibly getting that first-week bye and being two weeks away from the Super Bowl," said bar owner Rudy Jarbo. "I think this gives Lions fans an incentive to watch physically, mentally, emotionally and financially." Jarbo said the only rules in order to get food and drinks on the house are that customers have to arrive before kickoff and stay the entire game. While the small bar has a capacity of only 100 people, the fact that it's more of a high-end pub makes it easier for Lions fans to rack up the costs if Detroit gets out to a healthy lead. A shot of Johnny Walker Blue at The Pour House is $30, and there are craft beers that cost as much as $23....

Josh Gordon suspended for Week 17

The Cleveland Browns have suspended wide receiver Josh Gordon for an unspecified violation of team rules one day before their season finale against the Baltimore Ravens. The Browns announced the suspension in a release Saturday. Wide receiver Phil Bates has been promoted from the practice squad to replace Gordon on the active roster. The team later announced that Bates did not even make the trip to Baltimore and would not play on Sunday. Both Gordon and rookie quarterback?? Johnny Manziel were absent from the Browns' walk-through Saturday morning, and the team had trouble locating them, a source close to the team told ESPN's Pat McManamon. Gordon also was late getting onto the practice field Friday and emerged from the team's facility for the outdoor workout wearing teammate Travis Benjamin's jersey. The Browns did not mention Manziel in their release, and Manziel made the trip to Baltimore with the team, a...

Kevin Garnett blows in West's ear

NEW YORK -- Brooklyn Nets power forward Kevin Garnett did his best Lance Stephenson impression, blowing in David West's ear and drawing a technical foul on the Indiana Pacers power forward in the first quarter of Saturday night's game at Barclays Center. Garnett fouled West, then got in his face and blew in his ear, causing West to push him. The two continued jawing and had to be separated by the officials. "I didn't like that. I didn't like it," West said after the Pacers' 110-85 rout of the Nets. "I just know it was too close and I didn't like it. It was just too much. I don't really play them games. We're out there to play basketball, so let's play basketball. "Everybody was kinda looking at me trying to figure out what made me push him or whatever, but he blew in my face, an aggressive blow at that. I think Lance's was more sensual, you know? That was an aggressive one." Garnett did not address...
